We extend a warm welcome to you at the Villas Alevrota situated in Kamilari in Southern Crete. If you are looking for the quiet life, or if you love nature, long walks, beautiful beaches, crave relaxation and a holiday in a typical Cretan village, then look no further, this is where you need to be. Kamilari is just 2.5 km from the long sandy beach of Kalamaki. The area is surrounded by olive and citrus groves and plenty of paths meander through these and around the old villages. Walking, or even cycling, you can really experience the beautiful sights and sounds of the unspoilt landscape in the vicinity. Our holiday homes themselves are surrounded by many trees, flowers and herbs, plus they have a fantastic view from the hill of Alevrota, on the edge of the village between Pitsidia and Kamilari.
Other small typical Cretan villages in the neighbourhood of Kamilari are Sivas, Pitsidia, Kousses, Listaros, just to name a few. But if you miss that tourist feeling then Matala and Agia Galini can easily be reached. The archaeological sites of Phaistos and Agia Triada are also just a stones throw away.

We have been established in the tourism sector since 1983 with accommodation and a car rental business in Kalamaki. Our guests come from many countries and often they return to us year after year. A rental car can be available on your arrival at Heraklion airport and we will give you detailed instructions for the drive to Kamilari and our holiday homes. If you would like to hire a car, then we will be only too happy to share our experience and knowledge of the area and further afield. We can recommend sight-seeing trips and perfect days out, maybe even suggesting places that are not in the tourist guide books, places the average visitor rarely finds.
